SeaQuest Aquarium

Well, the weather here in Fort Worth is supposed to be cold and crappy for the next few days, so I spent a nice relaxing “inside” day looking at fishies and critters. SeaQuest is a chain of aquariums with locations across the country—I’ve already been to at least four or five of them. The one at Fort Worth is located inside one of the local malls.

Some photos from a visit.

Vietnamese Potbelly Piglets. Awww. They loved having their ears scratched.

Horn Shark. One of the small sharks known as “dogfish”.

Vinegaroon, also known as the Giant Whip Scorpion. Fearsome-looking but harmless–I used to keep one as a pet.
