North Carolina Arboretum

While visiting with my longtime cyberfriend David and his wife Katharine, we spent the afternoon at the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville. Here are some photos from the visit.

  1. While walking around downtown Asheville today I came across something I had never seen before: a Himalayan restaurant. Given that I’ll eat virtually anything (at least once) and never had Nepalese or Tibetan food before, I had to go in and try it. Had some spiced chicken stuff, some cauliflower baked in milk, some tea with butter in it, and some other stuff (all of which alas I forget the Tibetan and Nepalese names for).

It was really really good. 🙂
